Capitol Stones in Rock Creek Park [#167]

The Capitol stones are one of the best-kept open secrets of the city. They were dismantled from the Capitol in 1958 when the east front was expanded and rebuilt in marble, and dumped in the late '70s at a National Parks Services facility deep inside Rock Creek Park, where they remain.

PRINTS are 8x10", 11x14" or 16x20". Open edition printed with professional archival inks on acid-free, 100% cotton rag for long term durability (museum-quality giclée). The prints are packaged in a protective sleeve with a sturdy backing board in a rigid kraft mailer. We care about the environment, so we ship using recycled or reused materials whenever possible.
