Howard Theater, Funk Parade [#67]

Regular price $30.00 $0.00

The Howard Theater has long housed the most prominent performances. Rock and roll, rhythm and blues, go-go and other artistic forms have resonated in its historic walls for over a century, making it a celebrated member of the Shaw community. In this image, the Funk Parade – another loved DC institution – fills the road with music and revelers on the way to U Street.

This image is part of the series 'Postcards from Washington DC' that aims to represent the contrasting life in the capital.
