Rocket Row at Smithsonian’s Arts and Industries Building, 1960s [#218]

Regular price $30.00 $0.00

Today, I'm traveling to the 1960s to feature the historic "Rocket Row" on the West side entrance of the building. Smithsonian Archives has wonderful photos and postcards from when the aviation and space collections where displayed, before the Air and Space Museum was built. Also, it's hard to believe there was a time the glorious gardens behind the Castle were just a parking lot - the Enid A. Haupt Garden opened in 1987.

PRINTS are 8x10", 11x14" or 16x20". Open edition printed with professional archival inks on acid-free, 100% cotton rag for long term durability (museum-quality giclée). The prints are packaged in a protective sleeve with a sturdy backing board in a rigid kraft mailer, or rolled in a tube. We care about the environment, so we ship using recycled or reused materials whenever possible.
