Reading Room of the Library of Congress [#58]

Regular price $30.00 $0.00

More than just being the world’s largest library, the Library of Congress intends to act as a cornerstone of American ideology. It provides lawmakers with all possible information to guide their decisions, it is the nation’s oldest cultural institution and our greatest monument to civilization and knowledge. The reading room in the Jefferson building is an inspiring experience, full of symbols and history. Readers spend long, silent hours immersed in their research, while tourists gaze down at them. At times where misinformation seems to be the norm, I invite you to visit the place where learning begins and hear the voices of others who came before us.

This image is part of the series 'Postcards from Washington DC' that aims to represent the contrasting life in the capital.
