Mexican Cultural Institute [#176]

Regular price $30.00 $0.00

One of D.C.’s lesser-known gems is the building that now hosts the Mexican Cultural Institute on 16th Street NW. Built between 1910 and 1911, the former Mexican Embassy was part of Mary Foote Henderson's effort to transform her property near Meridian Hill into an elite residential and diplomatic community.

The Beaux Arts mansion hosts numerous events and exhibitions, and has a three-story mural by Roberto Cueva del Río that tells the story of Mexican history, culture, and foreign relations.

PRINTS are 8x10", 11x14" or 16x20". Open edition printed with professional archival inks on acid-free, 100% cotton rag for long term durability (museum-quality giclée). The prints are packaged in a protective sleeve with a sturdy backing board in a rigid kraft mailer. We care about the environment, so we ship using recycled or reused materials whenever possible.
