March at the Capitol [#66]

Regular price $30.00 $0.00

It’s protest season. Demonstrators gather to voice their discontent for the federal agenda while the government is on the verge of a shutdown. This spring DC will be flush with rallies in the name of science, the climate, immigrants’ rights, and LGBTQ rights. The flow of people replaces the usual flow of traffic to remind us that our city is ground zero for the first amendment.

In this image, a couple walks towards the crowd gathered before the Capitol, with the Library of Congress on the background.

This image is part of the series 'Postcards from Washington DC' that aims to represent the contrasting life in the capital.
