Engine #3 in New Jersey Av NW [#16]

Regular price $30.00 $0.00

On May 4th we recognise and honour all the firefighters that dedicate themselves to protect the community. Whether you hear thesirens, see the red cars rushing through the streets or live next to a red-door station like this one, the presence of the Fire Department in DC is constant.

Arguably the oldest fire station in the city, Engine No 3 on New Jersey Av NW has been protecting the Capitol and Union Station for 100 years. It’s a beautiful landmark (and also a museum!).

This image is part of the series 'Postcards from Washington DC' that aims to represent the contrasting life in the capital.

PRINTS are 8x10", 11x14" or 16x20". Open edition printed with professional archival inks on acid-free, 100% cotton rag for long term durability (museum-quality giclée). The prints are packaged in a protective sleeve with a sturdy backing board in a rigid kraft mailer. We care about the environment, so we ship using recycled or reused materials whenever possible.
