Some of my favorite things (France Edition πŸ‡«πŸ‡·)

Our sabbatical in Toulouse πŸ‡«πŸ‡· is coming to an end in August, but there are still plenty of trips and exciting adventures ahead. I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to explore this part of the world again, this time with my family. Here are some things I've been enjoying:

πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈπŸš΄β€β™€οΈ The ability to walk or bike everywhere. The advantage of living in a denser area, close to the center, is fantastic: I have a cinema next door, museums, restaurants, and markets.

πŸ‡ Speaking of which... markets are lovely here. They are filled with color, flavors, and music. It's like a weekly celebration of life!

πŸ₯πŸž Pastries and bread. Not so good for keeping the line, but who can resist a buttery, crunchy croissant for 1.5 euros?

πŸŽ‰πŸŽΆ There's always something happening on the streets. Festivals, music, demonstrationsβ€”it's a feast for my eyes and senses.

πŸ›οΈ I love being surrounded by old buildings. It's like the cities here are living beings. They transform at a very organic pace. The old brick walls tell you stories. The graffiti fades and comes again. It's a bit magical ✨.
